i enjoy Jazz when i hear it, but i never really feel the urge to throw it on and listen myself. i don’t rly know much outside of a handful of all time classics tho

mostly listening to new s*** this year tho. mainly hyperpop, emo/emo rap, underground s*** like the new rx guys, etc. imo hasn’t been a great year for guitar based indie rock type s*** at all, or even singer songwriter stuff outside of the new Lana

Yeah that song writer stuff has slowed down a bit. But touching on to that can you recc some women who sing? Preferably not that much about love nore about nature and s*** like that.

since then i've read The Heavenly Table, Nightmare Alley, and Fat City. All which I would rec over Hurricane Season haha

Im reading Glamorama by BEE right now, I know BEE isnt for everyone but ive always found his books entertaining and p funny.

I did actually really like it but it was bleak to the point of being exhausting and her writing style really exacerbated that. I swear there were some sentences that were like 10 pages long

Nice. I just finished His Bloody Project, really unique take on a "true" crime story set in the Scottish Highlands, was a fun book. Gunna have to read something with less murder in next I think

Yea it definitely was a dark one broski, p unsettling too. The writing style was probably my fav thing about the book, it had a pulse to it. Towards the end when the kid is in the jail cell was intense. Glad you digged it.
