Even my old ass only had one or two friends that afforded a mortgage before s*** got ridiculous and both of them had help from parents so I was always gonna be doomed

Yo I actually just finished this western/crime/dark comedy book called The Heavenly Table you would dig. Bout a group of brothers who turn outlaw and the motley crew of characters they encounter along the way to a conflict. Entertaining read from the author of The Devil All The Time, feels like an S. Craig Zahler flick

You could still do it but you'd have to hammer out like 60 hour weeks to afford a mortgage.... Depending on the market where you live. I'm still trying to work to live for a bit longer before I live to work.

ill prob be close to that once i get into a union (elevator or plumbing, whatever takes me), will be scooping up all the overtime i can get. its gonna be a long road and im starting it all late but at this point the security will be nice

ok so you got some classics under your belt. imo all of those are pretty overrated (maybe except Brotherhood) but all of em are good shows. i’m actually in the middle of watching Steins Gate myself.

trust you don’t know the half of it, lmk your reaction to the episode where Violet is staying with the mother and daughter in the country that one legit f***ed me up lmao.

but yeah that’s Kyoto Ani for ya! they specialize in making beautifully animated, surprisingly mature slice of life anime (more realistic genre of anime mostly about the every day lives of characters).

anyways, if you need recommendations after VE, you know who to come to 👍
