RASIEI literally just bought it on the ps store this morning and have been letting it download while i run errands...hoping i dont come home to play it and get something like this
lol you got a PS5? that video was taken pre patch on last gen consoles, next gen handles the game fine. even my Series S hasn’t had any trouble running it whatsoever

abstract and jazzy. Boldy is on one too, hellova year for him :datass: I listened to it back when it dropped but it’s been a while, need to revisit it. I havent read any reviews or seen any reactions to the game at all. I just realized it was out earlier today and decided to buy it since i got paid this weekend...
And is there supposed to be an upcoming patch for the ps4 version to fix issues? Wasnt the game originally developed for the ps4 in the first place?? Why wouldnt the ps4 be able to properly run a game that was first slated for release in Spring 2020?

there was already a patch that addressed some very surface level visual issues, but that’s the least of your worries lmfao. from what I’ve heard, it’s nearly unplayable on last gen

I havent booted it up for the first time yet. I emailed psn custo-serv asking about a refund... They usually dont refund a game/content if youve already downloaded it, but im gonna see if they can make an exception

I didnt follow the game either but it seems like a s***ty cash grab to even release it for the PS4 knowing its gonna be a disaster

But theyve been developing this game since like 2017. They had to have all PS4 models in mind for playing the game since it was in development like 2 years before PS5 dev kits were first sent out.
imo because of that developmen timeline, there's no excuse for the game performing as badly as these articles and clips are showing...even on standard base PS4 models.
I can understand not being able to play it at (or even near) maximum performance setting unless you have a extremely nice PC setup or one of the new consoles — thats just normal and to be expected.
But for the game to have NPCs and textures that look like an N64 game on the PS4 when it was already being worked on 3 years ago is ridiculous. Im really hoping this was an unforeseen issue with different releases/optimized versions accidentally getting screwed up in all the release date hype, and something that's relatively easy to fix — and NOT something baked into the actual versions of the game without telling customers.
