Have you not played past it yet?
You def should. Switch the difficulty to easy and then after the prologue just switch it back to normal/hard
I tried it on hard first and got my ass handed to me. But after i found out that you can change the difficulty at any moment from the pause menu, with no trophy/progress penalties, I was much more open to try again. And im glad i did cause im only on like the 4th main story quest and it's already getting really good
yeah i did that and made it a little while past when you fight the naked guy but idk, the combat just wasn’t that fun to me
been playing Yakuza 7, Black Ops Cold War, and Borderlands 3 lately
Really been wanting to play one of the yakuza games, especially the one that Dunkey made a video about where you can get a literal chicken to be your manager in bowling
And i tried Borderlands 3 over a year ago and i couldnt stand playing it cause no matter what i did in my game and tv settings, it was impossible to shoot anything while ADS because there was some horrible frame lag
And Bordlands 3 was the only FPS i had that problem with — CoD, DOOM, and Wolfenstein all worked perfectly fine

Ah i feel you
that borderland 3 lag s*** was extra frustrating cause borderlands 2 was one of my favorite games in that gen. Spent soooo many hours playing co-op and hunting loot with friends on that s***

brooooo ikr, i’ve loved the series since the first one so you know i bought the third one first day, and MAN that lag was something else. even on/switching between menu screens
luckily they’ve pretty much fixed it now, and it runs especially great with super short load times on next gen
that’s the only reason i started playing again

well they’re normally like brawler/beat em up games with RPG elements, but with this new one they went full RPG with turn based combat and way more fantasy s*** so i feel like it’s even more up your alley
kinda like a mixture between Pokemon, Dragon Quest, and FF lmao all of which they directly parody/have callbacks to throughout the game.
also you have summons in this game and one of em is a chicken named Omelette that works at your Confectionary shop

I watched Opening Night earlier
Lmk when you wanna talk about it or something
watched it twice.
what are your thoughts?
Taylor really dropping a folklore film on Disney+ when top philosophy scholars haven't made any progress deciphering the album's lyrics yet. She just took a hard left turn and added a couple more decades of research to their careers like it was nothing
Black is King was a okay movie
I doubt Taylor will even rise to that level

the difficulty in that game is wonky. since you can just pause the game and heal to full on (very cheap) healing items at any time they basically made it so everything on hard 2 or 3 shots you. even the goofy little stubby robots. then very hard is just 1 hit kills.
on the flip side on normal you just obliterate everything and it isn't fun. hard is the best way to play, you just have to get good at dodging.

I was thinking the same thing...but then earlier on normal i apparently did too many main quests in a row without leveling up enough, and suddenly i was level 11 facing crowds of level 35 enemies
It felt like i managed to heal myself like literally a couple frames before the game registered my health at zero. I definitely managed to prevent game overs but was still repeatedly getting my ass kicked haha. That alone heightened by dodge/counter skills
I love the plug-in chip system tho. The limited space, fusing them at shops, finding the rare black diamond ones with big buff and low cost
Man akerman has an even more potent filmog than i initially thought tbh
