they just made it louder and theres clipping and distortion everywhere. and im really not that picky about mastering usually but I thought it was noticeably bad. i remember some distortion on Lets Go Crazy that sounded awful. the og CD sounded better when i compared

the 1999 one they did a good job tho actually

Yea broski these remasters gotta be done right.. I actually heard the one they did for Turn on the Bright Lights for some anniversary edition, and tbh it was too bright

Gone was that deep bass, dark and moody vibe of the original, had look for an OG copy.
