Let me break this down again.

This is all founded by foreign owners (not solely Americans) because they want MONEY. This is a fact. Admitted by those involved.

The 'competition' offers GUARANTEED spots to those involved. There is no competition. This is not the spirit of British football. This is a bigger issue than the money. There is no Leicester winning the league. There is no Crawley Town beating Manchester United sending them out of the FA Cup, there is no West Ham getting into the Champions League. It is solidified greed by clubs who perceive a certain 'status', most of which don't even get into the Champions League.

The comparison/mention of American comes because this is an American style concept that simply does not apply to this game. Those for it from what I have seen, support it because it is what they know and understand from sport.

Whereas those in England protesting it are doing so because they know the history, they were there, it's a part of our DNA as fans and everything about the concept behind this ESL is a slap in the face.

It is not unfair to say that foreign fans, who are not part of the culture will not understand why this is wrong. It's two very different sets of people.
