i say 3.2 to 3.4 unless fantano does another review and gives it 4 again
It’s crazy that there’s full grown niggas out there that still can’t form an opinion of their own lmao
Lil Uzi's Depressing Nostalgia Trip
I'm not gonna talk about Eternal Atake, this review is purely on LUV Vs. TW 2 (disc 1 of this album).
Lil Uzi and his entire fanbase cannot seem to let go of 2016, this album is the product of that. LUV Vs TW 2 is a compilation of tracks that Uzi fans have wanted for a long time + some new tracks that were made from scratch in the week after Eternal Atakes release. Although it's nostalgic to finally hear tracks like Moon Relate and Lotus, this is nothing but a under-cooked mixtape. The "grails" Myron, Lotus, Rollie, Moon Relate, Come This Way, and Trap This Way on this album feature Uzi doing the same thing he's always done: high pitched flows and riffing over melodic trap beats, nothing new. The new songs on here were made in a week like I said, and they f***ing sound like it: boring, unoriginal, and uninspired.
Please move on, it's not 2016 anymore, it's been 4 years and Uzi fans are still wanting the exact same sound and style out of Uzi, I've never seen a fanbase so happy to watch an artist stagnate.

Kinda feels like the first time I heard Die Lit, the prod is so wavy and diverse yet somehow sounds cohesive.
