First off I’ve never heard an Adele album or seen any hype for any of her albums. Is that because they don’t have hype or because I’m not part of her demographic?

Secondly, we really trying to say physicals aren’t as good a measure of how much an artist is liked as streams? Buying a physical means someone actually wants the album vs. Seeing it on the Spotify homepage and playing in the background.

Thirdly @Op stating it’s fact that only 500k were pressed and that all outlets Adele shelves are untouched when that number was reported as 3x as much in an article he’s choosing to ignore and multiple people told him their local shops were selling just fine

Fourthly @Op sounding like a Pokemon playing Qanon supporter with all that woke media can’t be trusted narrative

For your 2nd point, theres a lot of dishonest reporting and misinformation about when a vinyl sale actually counts

Does it count when a record store places the order for x amount of copies? Or does it count when someone walks into the record store and buys it?

There isnt really a clear answer on this theres sources that support both

i saw a twitter thread reporting between 1-2 million shipped so if 500k sold in a few days why wouldn't they just say 1 million

The harsh Critics of EA got to Uzi’s head. Look up any of his past performances of the last year, & he’s performing all previous hits before EA and he seemingly never performs songs off it live. Wonder why

i could argue that Eternal Atake drop eclipses both of those releases. That project along with After Hours are pandemic classics both in terms of commercial and critical success
