You're right, I was mistaken with the June date. That was when the album dropped and made 0 noise. They pumped his Spotify at the beginning of September and coincidentally, that's when his music actually started blowing up

In June of this year he dropped his debut album Rebel, but it wasn't until three months later that it started to gain traction commercially, appearing at the lower end of the Official Albums Chart Top 100 in September at Number 82, and it's been rising week on week ever since. Breaking the Top 40 for the first time in early October, Rebel rose to Number 29 last week. The project includes previous tracks LV Sandals, 4 Raws and Rottweiler.

Yeah because the album is good, the singles stuck, his team knows how to use tiktok, his sold out tour was popping, and he leverages great marketing using persona and maintaining demand by not giving too much

What’s the beef. Most of yall would kill for 33k streams on the lead single for ur debut project a day and still not know what to do with it

No beef. I wish him nothing but the best. I've always found it incredibly corny when artists pretend to be independent when they aren't, but I doubt that's even his decision to make. Sorry to burst your bubble, but going from no playlisting to 60 million in a couple months doesn't happen for independent artists. I hope you keep listening and enjoying his music despite knowing he's a plant.
