If this was so easy to manufacture why wouldnt every artist be pumped like this? lol
That’s the point. Major label artists do get these types of placements. People seemed to think the kid dropped an album independently and is doing these numbers solely off fan support. I can’t blame anyone for thinking that - I literally had to search his songs in a database to find out he has a distro deal with Warner.
Not every artist with placements like these pulls the kind of streams he’s pulling; his music clearly resonates with people. Two things can be true at once: people are genuinely enjoying his music, and he’s also getting a major label push.

KTT so funny. Thread about his sales got more posts that the dedicated artist thread
Crine but he really got it. The uk gonna invade next year. Esdeekid, Fakemink Jim legxacy they all warmed up this year but could go crazy if they can all keep dropping and stay active
Lol man, just stop
Considering that every thread you make is about an underground artist, I know you mad. If it makes you feel better, Bally and everything prior to Rebel was released independently.

There’s genuinely nothing here to be upset about. You’ve already decided that most of his success is industry manufactured, and nothing is going to change that lol.
Claiming that his entire rise is solely the product of playlisting, marketing pushes, or editorial placement is an extreme oversimplification. Of course there’s marketing involved, that’s the case for every artist with any momentum. And yes, I’m fully aware that XV is an independent label operating under Warner’s umbrella. It would be absurd not to amplify an artist who’s becoming the face of an international scene. That’s literally how the industry works.
What you’re missing is that he still had to make the music, have a bubbling scene attached with the right characters, and build his own foundation to even reach that point. That was NOT the label. Can we agree on THAT? lol
Reducing his achievements to pure industry engineering ignores the actual audience response, the scene, the music, and the persona that is ultimately driving his momentum in the first place.
And again, if it were really as easy as you’re describing, we’d see this level of success all the time. We don’t. You can throw the same marketing budget behind a dozen other artists and still not get this outcome.
No matter how you slice it, this looks like a success story.

This is why reading is fundamental, I literally said all that on this same page:
"Not every artist with placements like these pulls the kind of streams he’s pulling; his music clearly resonates with people. Two things can be true at once: people are genuinely enjoying his music, and he’s also getting a major label push."
