There are lags at 1:04 and 2:33 (less noticeable, like it can almost be a part of the production) that are really throwing me off. It sounds like it could be purposeful but I don't see why lol

Why did they drop this lol. Took one of Alc’s most iconic beats and had erykah kinds tediously circle it with messy random melodies, and mixed her voice to sound super thin, and slapped an ai cover on it. Baffling way to start this cycle

Knew this was gonna be mediocre as soon as I saw the AI cover. Has there been a case where AI was used and we actually got something good? It’s basically just an early indicator that you’re getting half baked mid

The buttons on the boombox, the lines around the boom box and the music note are super odd. Doesn’t feel like details a human would ever draw. The lines that are meant to be erykah’s eyes on the cover. One breaks into being an eyebrow for some reason and the other is a complete circle

Also the whole ‘music video’ is the same art style and it has a lot of obvious ai glitching awkwardness

People think it's exaggeration but using AI for any aspect of your art just shows you don't actually care much for it.

Somebody who genuinely cares for their craft would want to be in complete control of all aspects of it. Or at the very least, get the best person or people they can to help put together their vision.

This Erykah Badu and Alchemist we talking about. They definitely have the money and connects to get somebody to put together some artwork or an animated video. They just didn't care to.

while i agree using AI in any shape or form is reproachable, i don't think we need to make this big a fuss about it. enjoy the music, and be glad that this album might actually (maybe) come out.

yes, i agree with you. AI is a very hot topic, and i agree that a lot of artists in all fields are being harmed by this practice.

let's hope they work with a real human being artist for whatever other artworks they come out with.

my thing about AI is that it needs pre existing art to function so if you wanted this just find someone who can do it themselves. also an erykah collab like bro he did more for larry f***ing june than an all timer singer
