Bruh I listened to this again and I would've been so interested to see how this project did if it was attached to someone else. Like say, someone from the era(s) she's commemorating.

The production is good. I do really like it. Shades of Craig David, Aaliyah etc. Polite literally could be an Ashanti song. No Butterflies gives me a little bit of random abstract Twigs energy. Otherwise her s*** passes right through me, mainly due to her vocals and delivery. She sounds super bored and so am I after a while

Signing to 4AD is a good look, probably a lot of eyes and ears on her that wouldn't be otherwise. Pretty woman, alright music.
