just watched this and ehhhh..... i enjoyed a lot of it and its real ambitious camerawork but a lot of it dragged. at the end i felt like i watched half a movie and kept pausing it every so often to watch 5 minutes of drone footage or p***

i think i get what it was going for and it def succeeds at that. it was just way too slow at some points for my taste. nice to see a directors uncompromised vision though

Ive always been interested in the themes in ETV too, not many films like this

still can’t bring myself to watch irreversible tbh

his other movies make me v squirmy in a way no others can.

Yes, also nice how they included DMT in the film as it interfaces with the rebirth theme even though it isn't explicitly stated in the film itself

Not to mention the beautiful neon aesthetics, i have a thing for films like that. I really love other films like that too. Only God Forgives, Bliss (underrated film from last year) and some others. But Noé does it the best imo

A lot of people hate the film but i quite like it. It's very slow though. But it's my cup of tea
