EverestI agree but I feel it has tinged and ruined energy now because every trump rapper and grifter comedian with allegations does that stuff now. Eminem since album #1 has been saying ‘I’m gonna say this and you can’t cancel me!’
Ofc a 50 year old rapper being edgy is kinda lame to begin with but it’s extra lame because it automatically aligns himself with those types of guys. Despite him probably not agreeing with them politically like he’s on record being a pretty normal boiler plate anti trump liberal guy
For real. He been this way since day 1 but it doesn’t help that the “I identify as” bars are jokes you’d see on daily wire and fox news.
But to be fair I watched the music video just now and it does a better job contextualizing and adding a story to why he said all these things. The whole “slim shady’s back from the past and he’s trying to get us cancelled—we have to stop him” is a funny narrative but it’s not in the song
