I actually really like the beat on that. That vocoder-like melody on there is pretty catchy
i like parts of it, the beat, sly, some of Em
that one 4 bar verse about obese people had me like HUH lmao
JID a good rapper but he will always be GV Kendrick to me
Don’t know how you can listen to The Forever Story and think that
Damnn...gotta disagree with you on this one
what are your top 3 songs so far that you think you can play repeatedly
i like parts of it, the beat, sly, some of Em
that one 4 bar verse about obese people had me like HUH lmao
Yeah lmaoooo that s*** was wild
Don’t know how you can listen to The Forever Story and think that
I didn’t
He’s 51 years old bro
ITS FROM SLIM SHADY'S PERSONA PERSPECTIVE FROM BACK IN A DAY VERSION
dont u saw Houdini video where he came back and immediately started to s*** on everything in 2024 ?
wow am really worried if this kinda basic concept is to much for your brain
dont even try new Lupe's album u will go braindead
Don’t know how you can listen to The Forever Story and think that
i gotta relisten to that. i like JID but honestly can't believe how acclaimed that one got
Amazing album fam. Check it out
Wayne is way more of an influence on JID anyways lol. and I know Kendrick is a big fan of Wayne too so yea there's some loose similarities but definitely not a Kendrick clone. people don't really be listening smh
i like parts of it, the beat, sly, some of Em
that one 4 bar verse about obese people had me like HUH lmao
Now that you say it, the beat and slys part are wayyyyy to dope for this to just be a song dissing fat people wtf Em
the raps just dont hit for the most part. hes either forcing controversial bars which he doesn't actually stand behind at the ripe age of 50 something under the guise of a "oh no shady is back" concept or doing the choppy napkin with a bapkin s***
Brother he actually called that exact s*** out on the album.
Listen to it.

Yeah he’s clearly very inspired by Kendrick. But calling him a knock off Kendrick is insane lol
I don’t necessarily see it as an issue if he’s physically incapable of recreating the voice. Don’t see it as much different than apply any other vocal effect or using auto-tune.
This is probably gonna be a huge topic of discussion going into the future but my reaction to that is
With autotune you’re still hearing the artist, in front of a microphone, being captured. There’s an effect on it but you’re still hearing them in that moment being recorded and delivering what the song is. The cadence is also being captured and the actual person who the song is being delivered by is still being captured
It’s an effect, it’s effecting the audio. It’s not outright replacing it a complete digital creation
If the intro on this or brand new dance are ai, we legit aren’t hearing Eminem or anyone. He recorded it and still delivered it but the audio isn’t anything that happened
There’s an argument where it’s like if it’s good who cares but idk I probably won’t be as into those songs if it comes out it’s legit a generated computer voice.
The idea of Eminem specifically catching his groove back and fixing his bad delivery (an issue for over a decade now) is so much more fulfilling a listen then just listening to him use a software to deliver a song without anyone actually at the mic rapping
I love rap for hearing the guy at the mic delivering the rhymes! The voice being used, the cadence, the contorting of words and delivery
Now that you say it, the beat and slys part are wayyyyy to dope for this to just be a song dissing fat people wtf Em
you feel me! it was throwing me off cause it was like halfway dope as hell lmao
I kind of flipped it on road rage. I don't know I liked that Lil dun duuuun sound that's off kilter in the background of the beat.
It’s sooo dope to see hiphop moving in the right direction and slowly accepting the fact that even rappers over 50 can still rap and it’s not a taboo. Only in hiphop is this still controversial.
Killer Mike, Jay, LL, Em, etc are still amazing and I hope Em inspires other OGs to keep rapping.
This is hiphop

Samurai >>>>> this album lol
It’s not rocket science bro, the “concept” is extremely apparent. It just comes off lame and corny to me… if you can’t accept other opinions I don’t know what to tell you lol
Brother he actually called that exact s*** out on the album.
Listen to it.
I get it. but it doesn't make for that much enjoyable music so far. I don't see myself wanting to go back to this but tbd
aw hell nah nigga put a ballad on this, right after letting his no-name label signee get TWO verses off.
i see what y'all are saying now about the tracks after Guilty Conscience 2. this should've been the deluxe to drop 3 days after or whatever.
i gotta relisten to that. i like JID but honestly can't believe how acclaimed that one got
One of the best rap albums in the past 5 years to me
One of the best rap albums in the past 5 years to me
