They have worked together. Alc had a beat on MTBMB. Unfortunately it was one of the worst songs Em ever made (Stepdad).

They also did Chemical Warfare, on Alc's album in 09.
But the best collab they ever did was Monkey See, Monkey Do in 2002.

also I know about Chemical Warfare/Microphone Freestyle but those are also an entirely different style of Em that we don't get from him anymore

    I'm talking about right now

WAIT ALCHEMIST DID MONKEY SEE MONKEY DO????!!! IVE BEEN RUNNING THAT S*** BACK THIS WHOLE TIME NOT KNOWING THIS

Yep. Also they did the unreleased intro to Relapse 2, Insult 2 Injury.

It's rumored that the three verses Em spits here over Alc production are from that song:

    verse 1 - 2:00, verse 2 - 4:24, verse 3 - 7:40

yeah I run this one back all the time too.

I can't believe I didn't know about Monkey See Monkey Do because now it sounds exactly like some s*** Alc would make in 2003

EDIT: wait I did not know these were the verses from Insult to Injury : O I wonder if the beat is the same too

I'm still puzzled that Eminem never collaborated with anyone from TDE besides Kendrick

    Em x Q
    Em x Soul
    Em x Rock

    Would have been bonkers

Em was so gay for kicking everyone out of the studio to make sure Kendrick wrote his own verse for -checks notes- Love Game lol

true, he did shout out Q on MTBMB.

"Give me the cue like I'm ScHoolboy and I'll attack the beat like a pitbull would do to a chew toy in Detroit"

I don't even think Alc produced Stepdad because iirc it's multiple credits. like that beat is so bad I refuse to believe it actually came from his MPC pads and that he just contributed a sample or said something in the studio lol

that story has always been so cringe to me like I can see Marshall looking at Kendrick with this face the entire time while he writes his verse

this is what Alc said about Stepdad and working with Em in general:

I DJ’ed for him, that’s my brother, so I get to spend time when we’re on the road a lot. We went to Argentina on tour and I found that every time I go on tour, I go looking for records, so I went and found that record, and I think when we got back I sent him a joint. Because I do send him beats a lot. I send him stuff a lot, but he has a very particular taste, this is Eminem, you know what I’m saying? Finally, we found something he was into, and it took a little time until we ended up making the record, and it was just great for me because it’s something I always wanted to do. I tour with him, I travel with him, so I guess people always wonder why we’re not cooking, but I think he’s always listening, he’s always like, “Yo, send me some s***”. Hopefully, it will lead to more work, and I was just excited to be on that project and be a part of some big history with the big homie

Wish We got to hear more of the beat. Hopefully it isn’t just that melody with DA got that dope type drums.

I think Kendrick is the only mainstream artist that doesn't pick beats from Alchemist's Z folder lmao
