I think that’s Eminem’s lane now. He became more rap with his last 2 albums but there’s still that recovery formula stench on them.

Yeah MMLP2 was close to Revival era of the off-beat choppy flow, awful singing hooks, and terrible Rick Rubin beats.

I agree but I have a soft spot but rhyme or reason tbh. Some really bad parts (hate the yoda bit) but I feel like he caught a lil comfortable bounce on it. Headlights is a nice moment too.

I respect that. I wish I had good memories associated with the album because the marketing leading up to it was absolute hype. I still remember lurking KTT1 to find news.

But man, the album for me really ruined my interest in Eminem’s music from that point onward. Even though at the time, it was better received than Recovery, I easily prefer the former these days.

Bad Guy is a great song tho.

Bad Guy, Brainless, Berzerk, Rap God and Evil Twin are the only songs on the main disc that are good. A few of the other songs have their moments but are meh.

Baby, Groundhog Day, and Don’t Front off the bonus disc are excellent.

I agree those are closest to best songs. (Not a fan of the Brainless chorus tho)

But Groundhog Day is f***ing great (dope beat too) and Don’t Front was like some vintage 96 era Eminem! Good s***.
