shame that they started that beef
!https://youtu.be/ntBpwvKRzEs?si=NcD1P5j1sdrL8xEJdumbest beef ever, a radio hit between them would've been like Watch The Throne for white boys in JNCO jeans
I mean I wouldn't go to Re-Up for the Eminem songs personally. he's one of the weaker parts of that album imo. the new cats (at the time) and Alchemist did their thing on that album.
Talkin all That by Ca$his is like a quintessential 2000's hip hop song
You really think so? I didn’t like stat or cashis like that
The 50 and Em collabs on there are super dope
Plus no apologies is the last shady song we got
You Don’t Know slaps so hard
this is low key top tier eminem - ive thrown this one on at a few parties and ppl f***ed wit it its such a cool vibe, dope beat, great lyrics, fun dark sarcastic dont give a f*** vibe, his flow... f***ing so good
!https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k9STycYUCfsI love this song
Jimmy Crack Corn was originally an Encore song. If you listen to all the references they are all to 03 stuff (right thurr, on fire, shady ltd, Benzino)
There is footage of him and d12 writing to the beat in the studio during the making of d12 world.
Only the intro and outro referencing the re up project are new vocals from him.
I wonder which other songs from that era besides JCC and No Apologies were reused
Whattt I need a link to that video of them writing to it
First two verses are from the OG Eminem show version of that song and are flawless. Verse 3 is kinda mid tho
Yeah I seen that freestyle lol he was really something else
shame that they started that beef
!https://youtu.be/ntBpwvKRzEs?si=NcD1P5j1sdrL8xEJHe should’ve never went on TV and acted two faced
yeah that song that he mentions on Stan "the underground s*** that you did with Skam" that song is actually really crazy. Em's verse on there is one of my faves
"So when I grab a pencil and squeeze it between fingers
I'm not a rapper, I'm a demon who speaks English
A freak genius, too extreme for the weak and squeamish
Burn you alive 'til you screamin' to be extinguished
'Cause when I drop the science, motherfuckers tell me to stop the violence
Start a fire and block the hydrants
I'm just a mean person, you never seen worse than
So when Slim gets this M-16 burstin'
You gettin' spun backwards like every word of obscene cursin'
On the B-side of my first single with the clean version"
The hungry broke Em was a whole other problem bruh was that guy before he was that guy
@Beach_kneega this is the AZ influence I was talkin bout
Holy s***, that is AZ
Holy s***, that is AZ
cadence, rhyme scheme, beat, everything man lmaoo
How many people you know who can name every serial
Killer who ever existed in a row?
Put 'em in chronological order, beginnin' with Jack the Ripper
Name the time and place; from the body, the bag, the zipper
Location of the woods, where the body was dragged and then dumped
The trunk that they were stuffed in, the model, the make, the plate
And which model, which lake they found her in, how they attacked the victim
Say which murder weapon was used to do what in which one
Which knife and which gun, what kid, what wife, and which nun
Don't stop, I like this, it's fun, the f***in' night's just begun

hope em brings back this type of energy on this album. his horrorcore s*** on relapse was so cinematic
I'm lowkey glad we ended up with Rain Man and Big Weenie on Encore lmao they definitely take the album down a notch but those are awesome songs for any Em fan
those two are pretty fun tbh
puke on the other hand
no matter how eminems music was in the last years, his old music always brings up nostalgia in me
absolute legend
WTF The MV has almost 30 million views in three days bruh. That’s actually insane. At 51, Em is arguably still the most popular rapper. People who underestimate Em don’t realize that Drake hasn’t sold even 40% of the albums Em has in his career, and they have about the same number of albums lol.
IMO Em is more popular than Drake right now, with only Kendrick being more popular at the moment. Eminem is still a beast I never thought "Houdini" would be this popular.
Spotify streams indicate that Houdini is a serious single.
Realistically, we’ll never see a rapper as popular as Em was from 2000 to 2003 ever again only MJ had a bigger impact. T
The US would need to have twice the population (750M) it has today for anyone to replicate what Em did from 2000 to 2003.
S*** crazy
Em is 51 💀
To think he could have died from an overdose 20ish years ago
We living in the best timeline
