Deep down in an honest moment, I think he knows he dropped the ball big time with Revival. That album was just flat out horrendous in every sense of the word. I don't know what Em was thinking making that.
I'm glad he bounced back with 3 solid projects since then though.
Solid is a stretch. We shouldn’t have to badger someone of his stature to be decent on a technical level. That’s like basic 101 when it comes to making music.
The thing about Em is that once he finds something that he thinks works, he run it into the ground until people tell him to STOP. He used the Recovery formula on MMLP2 and Revival, and only stopped when people were telling him how awful it was.
He has a lifetime contract to Interscope allegedly and is apparently making trash songs out of spite to try and get dropped, but stans still listen to his s***
Source?

idk about that. people said the same thing about ye but I'm pretty sure they're just dropping bad music because they actually think it's good

and thats how you know he doesn't have an ear for the actual music, hes robotic in his approach
I swear who ever dug this Discombobulated beat out of Dre's vault, better get some more s*** like this to Em.
He just sounds way better flowing over beats like this, than some pop or Trap stuff.
Well he produced the majority of TES by himself and he solo produced a couple tracks on here. So yes I guess he is a musician in a classical sense. I don’t think he’s just like a Travis Scott who walks into a room and tells Mike Dean to “Make it darker”.
Being good or not is another thing.
He put his name as a producer on a majority of tes
Like I said before, we don't know the extend of his producing skills
I would love for him to sit down and do masterclass on how he made the album tes for example but I have a suspicion he doesn't know how to do that... artists tend to expose their knowledge about music (randomly too) , eminem never talks about how he produced a song unless it
is to say that he did...
Add to that the fact I've never seen him play an instrument or make a beat
Unlike royce

Action Bronson the only white rapper I'm listening to from now on.
He’s skinny now tho so he’ll prob fall off like skinny joe
In fairness though, that's with most albums these days, lol
Maybe, but this is em. The a side wasn’t much better either

too many yes men around

Well if he’s not producing the tracks he’s getting solo credit on, then who is?
I don’t think it’s out of the realm of possibility that he produces the work he’s only credited on. Considering a lot of his production isn’t that great.
Gone.
If that’s true, then why do we occasionally get something outstanding from him, like Darkness?

lightning in a bottle moment, just happened
He lost a s*** ton of weight, good for him
He about to get his Supreme Clientele/FishScale moment

lol. He’s just old, sober and lost his edge.
I don’t think Eminem has had s***in 13 years
All of the s***lines are by far the worst part of this project

Rather have love the way you lie over most of the chick songs he’s released since
views got hate from the jump wym
It was also called a classic just cause Drake said it.
What's up, Dan. What are your overall thoughts on this project and MTBMB? Did Em finally make a few projects that you liked or is it still disappointing to you?
Kami - I like it except Normal and both Jessie tracks. Which hurt the album since I like listening front to back.
Bought the CD
MTBMB - Bunch of songs that I like, some chicks songs that I hate like In Too Deep or Those Kinda Nights, and some childish ones that I listen or skip depending on my mood.
I think his hooks sound better, but some are ruined by the content. I Will hook gives me old Em vibes.
Bought 2 cds, both covers.
MTBMB Dlx - Woke up at 6 AM and saw that it had just dropped. Bought the alternative cover CD and went to work. I was only able to watch the music video twice and later heard a few songs.
Gave it a whole listen early while being sleepy as f*** and I felt like it was cool, but not sure about the replay value.
Need more front to back listens tomorrow before fully judging it.
