nah i truly think em is kinda tone deaf to most of this s***, he just cares about rapping
and the label just pressures him into these pop affairs because hey it worked with recovery so they still try the same formula with some minor tweaks here and there
back then he had the right people around him but those people either left or lost touch with whats up next

This new album is pretty bad

If you go to Alchemist Instagram he posted a video of him in early-mid 2017 making what would be a beat on Fetti at Rick Rubins house called Shangri-La. He was flown their by Em to make and submit beats for what would become Revival. And yet, none of those beats made it.

i mean hes def a musican by the defintion but u know what they mean like he just doesn't have the ease to it like he's kinda robotic in his approach to music u know what i mean

hes there for the rhymes and s*** other people used to carry the music aspect
