Dec 18, 2020·1 replyWESLEYS THEORYThat's definitely something I agree with. There's still issues, but it sounds like he's trying his hardest to make smoother sounding music while still keeping the technicality he fancys.
He used Kamikaze as a way to rehabilitate his flows/production and MTBMB Side A and Side B as a way to experiment with his delivery and hooks and see what works. I feel like the next Em album could be THE ONE. We might end up getting one final album where everything aligns close to perfectly. It's not gonna drop until 2022-2023 though.
Yeah I can see this as an experiment album, seeing what works and what doesn't. Em knows his next album is the one, especially after the feedback he will receive to these tracks. Compared to his other failures, now he knows the criticism isn't us just "hating" his music, but it is because it just didn't work.
