SO many people thought this. a lot of people think its emotional response but in reality so many people just dont really understand how businesses actually operate at a high level.

i think a lot of people dont really get that big companies dont just disappear. like if twitter goes bankrupt and fails, the assets of the company (i.e. the website) don't just cease the exist. i get that in schools business stuff isnt taught at all, but i often feel like the reason why people are more lax on their opinions of regulation, finance, etc. is mostly just because they really dont get how stuff works on a high level
