the big story if you boil it down is that something everyone already knew was happening behind the scenes was actually happening and twitter denied it publicly for some reason

it doesn't even really matter, it didn't make any difference functionally the people who supported the suppression of the story did so independently of twitter, they literally cheered it on when twitter did it, twitter didn't need to feign neutrality, the people supporting it didn't think neutrality mattered for it to be moral. the inverse people were mad regardless of how twitter justified it. them denying it publicly while stuff like this passed behind the scenes is really just absurd, it's like they felt a sense of shame or moral responsibility to feign neutrality even though partisan wise no one gave a s*** to begin with since everyone knew what was happening from the beginning.

You can reduce it, but you can't be robotic and completely remove yourself, because that information is tainted by some type of personal bias in how it is perceived.

i can only assume it's cause twitter is an information hub and they want to seem clean and trustworthy, and keep away ideas of collusion/risk to security. especially after facebook.
