His best?
No it sucks lol I like Adam Curtis (just finished Traumazone) but he has zero clue what he’s talking about when it comes to Freudianism
“The bird is free” 🤡

i was asking which you think is his best
"It's a private company. They do whatever they want" said by a person with dimmed mind. Comedic argument for the ages and time always crawl.
... but but but comedy is dead
i was asking which you think is his best
Oh lol uhh honestly I was really impressed with Traumazone and so it might end up being that
Either that or Hypernormalization
I still like Twitter
Looks like they’re rolling this out this morning keep seeing it and s***s so stupid lmao
So let me get this straight, Elon is making people pay for the blue check but is also giving a secondary white check to actual official accounts???
Such a f***ing redundant overcorrection
The verification system was fine as it was
Elon looking like a bozo these days
just had to sell off more TSLA just to fund his TWTR mistake
you hate to see it

He has to know this was a stupid idea but is so stubborn he’s not gonna reverse it

Replacing the free blue tick by a free Official tick before making people pay for the Official tick and replacing it with a free Really Official tick before...

how’s traumazone i’ve watched like 1 hour of it but i feel like it’s gonna worsen my depressive mood

It’s great and I highly recommend
Just take his jabs at “communism” with a grain of salt and you’ll get a lot out of it
Obvs you know the USSR was nothing resembling socialism or communism during the time period he’s talking about so shouldn’t be an issue
Unless there's a bigger plan to the blue tick for $8, then this is moronic af

He just describes Freudianism as the tool of bourgeoise control and Freud as some crazy cynical mastermind. He completely ignores the history of psychoanalysis and the class struggles that played out within it
Like I guess if you were strictly talking about Jung and his acolytes he would maybe have something interesting to say but he’s just completely misrepresenting the entire project

hmm u got any interesting things on the class struggle that played out with it

Class struggle was maybe the wrong phrase. I guess internal battles over the philosophical orientation of psychoanalysis (which of course has to do with ideological class struggle)
Read the epilogue of Eros and Civilization by Marcuse (I’d suggest reading the whole book, or at least the first half, which is great, second half is whatever. But the epilogue specifically deals with this)
Also check out Althussers writings on Freud, Lacan, and psychoanalysis
Freud’s History of Psychoanalysis will probably also be helpful
