EmotionThat's because you live in a bubble. Girls love this song and not just yee haw white girls a lot of non country fans like the song. It's definitely an a R&B influenced country song. The first time I heard it was at a bar and almost every girl started singing word for word. Mind you this was during the World Cup too

It’s funny too cause this may very well be the subconscious reason Drake himself loves Choosin Texas so much that he made a remix

i listened to this for the first time earlier and i have a theory that the only reason people rate it highly is cus the last couple years of mainstream country have been absolutely horrific so this doesn't seem that bad in comparison like it's an alright pop song
