Did you fight Scadutree Avatar at the base of the Scadutree? It drops an item that helps with final boss btw

Also make sure to fully explore and level up with scadutree fragments, im at lvl 16 scadutree blessing and I still have areas I haven’t been to

It was even hinted at too because all the other corpses of the demigods remained post battle in some form except his. Morgott lays dead and talks to us. Radahn gets eaten by pot bro. Malenia becomes the scarlet rot. Godrick gets kicked in the face by the weird gateguy. Rykard gets eaten by his wife in snakeform.
