I mean there’s 18 staffs in the base game, out of 300 weapons. 2 staffs for 100 new weapons is a huge drop off.

I guess I just like hunting for new weapons so it’s a bummer there’s not much for sorceries

There’s no good new spells either :/ I think I’m just gonna play through the dlc as a different class

The spinning attack the divine lion does to you is so f***ing stupid

I got really far on my first attempt then just kept messing up, he REALLY punishes even the slightest bit of greed, I use a big heavy strength build so it wasn't a situation where I could sneak in hits easily, each one was a big commitment, sometimes he'd power up his windstrike in the middle of my animation

I did not go out and get a haircut and see whats popping I played this game all day

I feel bad going through the whole dlc while the round table is burning down lmao my boy hewg demented still putting him to work

Mostly weapons and ashes of war is the strongest selling point of the dlc for me. All the new sorceries and incantations are pretty lackluster imo. They’re maybe 2-4 across both that I can see myself using in a thematic build.

Yea I wish I had a save where I did this before burning the erdtree n killing Malenia. Wonder if there is any difference
