the last reward we get from Gideon is the Law of Causality. In my link he clearly states that this incantation is only known to him.

it states:

The fundamentalists describe the Golden Order through the
powers of regression and causality. Causality is the pull between
meanings; that which links all things in a chain of relation.

I think the "chain of relation" part relates that everything is linked together. Sort of like a massive "plan", one big picture and Gideon believes that he is the one that understands it.

The way I see it Goldmask and Gideon are the 2 representatives of these 2 fundamental ideals.

Goldmasks quest has the Law of Regression:

The fundamentalists describe the Golden Order through the powers of regression and causality. Regression is the pull of meaning; that all things yearn eternally to converge.

Goldmask finds out the true meaning of the golden order that existed prior to us. That marika and Radagon are the same and from that on he refines the New Golden order. Convergence is mathematicelly getting closer to the perfect solution. Thats why he gives us the MENDING RUNE OF PERFECT ORDER. He refined and perfected it over seeing the flaws of its past.

The current imperfection of the Golden Order, or instability of ideology, can be blamed upon the fickleness of the gods no better than men. That is the fly in the ointment.

Gideon believes there is a bigger plot to what Marika did when she broke the Elden ring. He doesnt believe that we need to advance and more that this is all her plot. Basically he wants to link all that has happened together and tries to see a bigger picture in it. And my theory is that Miquella was so important to him (I think you know that he was the guy that killed the Albinurics because they were hiding the medaillion to Haligtree) because he was trying to make his own creation apart from the greater will. He was basically a threat to the bigger plan Marika and radagon had. HOWever as it turns out Mohg already abducted him the threat was already eliminated, there was never going to be a new Erdtree.

Now I think this boosts Gideons beliefs that this is all part of the bigger picture and all part of what Marika foresaw. That all her childrens new principles were going to fail and thats why were literally the last threat left to be able to create change.

Basically both goldmask and gideon believe in the same thinks but drew a different conclusion

• Goldmask: Marika had a big plan when she shattered the elden ring and radagon repaired it. Them being the same beinh means that it was their plan and he believes it was that we will repair and perfect the golden order

• Gideon: all the failures of the children and the damages to the world were part of marika plan and therefore we cannot interrupt or change it

Just beat mohg with my mage build at only level 85 with the comet azur strat

You’ll get it after resting at a few different sites of grace, can’t remember the exact number but it’s 3-4

There’s one more item that’s important for the overall gameplay mechanics, you get it by going to that starting church at night.

If you have those two you should be able to play the rest of the game blind, enjoy

And still playing try to complete it with a mage build

Fought him plenty of times legit lol I’ve got mad playthroughs. I wanted to see the power of the kamehameha

Actually character on my first ever playthrough was INT based so i haven't used the kamehameha in ages is it still just as busted???

Its range was reduced crazy but as long as you still stack with damage buffs and infinite FP tear you’re good. But yeah not as easy since they have to get a lot closer
