how
in my OG playthrough i never noticed there was a lil path sticking off the bottom of Limgrave
started my 2nd playthrough and i’m just now realizing i never went to Weeping Peninsula
Bro missed one of the best starting areas oat
Weeping peninsula is f***ing magical
Such a stunning atmosphere especially with Castle morne being one of their most realistic castles theyve ever made
Felt like a true throwback to DS1 imo
If you missed the weeping peninsula how much s*** have you missed in this game @basedspirit

well there’s stuff that i just didn’t get to before killing Radagon (Haligtree) cuz i got burnt out immediately after, and then there’s s*** i completely missed which afaik it’s just The Weeping Peninsula. I always saw you guys talking about it, but by then i was already in Liurnia and wasn’t worried about it

by the time you get to the Haligtree it feels like the third movie in LOTR. s*** is a journey.

Really so many moments in this game
The suprise chests in the beginning absolutely blew me away sending me straight to caelid or to leyndell
The magical elevator ride to the underground that turned out to be a gift that kept on giving.
The biggest one of all was Haligtree were you already go to the forbidden area lorewise and then AGAIN into a secret snow area that is basically completely lost with like 2 curches and a completely empty city only to be transported to another lotr fairytale city that then connects again via a descend to basically the edge of the world to Malenia like jesus f***ing christ no game beats this
Theres also a few that sadly got spoiled for me which was the sewers under leyndell (which I didnt find on my own) connecting to the deeproot depths or the meteor opening the forgotten city

I tried to do magic cause it looks awesome but just ended up respeccing back into strength halfway through
ultra greatswords forever
I absolutely hate strength in elden ring cus every enemy and especially bosses are spammy as f***
Never been a strength guy anyway

I've been maining with a Zweihander, I use some others in specialist situations but you can't beat a good caveman smash playstyle

You mostly resort to jump attacks with strength builds, especially with the later bosses cause they’re so damn fast

I really regret skipping thru the haligtree, all I really did was fight Loretta and then go fight malenia, s*** seems like such a cool area

Thats why strength builds so boring to me in this game. No poise and your one viable move is jump attacks lol
