Same, did a spellblade on my first playthrough. After ER i revisited BB & DS3 and now i’m on ER journey 2 doing a bleed build with dragon incantations

What do you think they could’ve done with another year of development? The game is way more complete in every regard than any of their other titles that I can think of

I guess flesh out some of the quests a bit more? But that wouldn’t need a year damn

Yes, another year. Could have worked on some of the stuff that felt repetetive in the environment or just added some stuff. Like you said quests too. Bc i love the ER lore but BB as a way smaller game feels like it has the same amount of lore almost

And especially they could have worked on adding different enemies, replacing the boring gank bosses and playtested some more in terms of balancing issues

Now its just very close to being perfect, but with flaws. DLC probably gonna add a lot to the world though like always

The thing that pisses me off here she didn’t do that one move…. Not waterfowl, unless I’m caught directly under her I can usually survive that pretty easily

It’s the stupid f***in move where she steps at you quick and does 3 quick swipes and then steps again and another couple quick swipes and then another step towards you and another swipe

Unless I just happen to be far enough away from her when she starts it, I cannot dodge that entire attack for the life of me. It doesn’t kill me but I usually take 3-4 hits, the damage isn’t even the issue but when she heals on every hit, getting hit 3-4 times that quickly refills her health

I don’t think I would be having an issue with her if she didn’t heal. That’s the most frustrating thing. I’ll have hit her with strong attacks like 6 times and gone through like 4 flasks but cause of her healing I’ve only done 10% damage to her

Malenia goes down pretty quick with a bleed build, try that against her and maybe grind for some runes too

Don’t feel bad about having a hard time against her, she’s a badly designed boss that breaks the rules set by fromsoft

I stopped myself at level 150

First play through I used summons and beat the game at like level 200-210

This play through I stopped at 150 and haven’t used a summons once

Radagon and Malenia kicking my ass now though

Because of a glitch
Her second phase started with 5% health
I thought 'surely not' and took a swing
She went down instantly
My weeks of suffering are over, but my victory is hollow

If it’s anything like their other ones it’s a mix of all that + dope ass artwork as well unreal concept art you can’t find anywhere else, that’s the main draw for me tbh

I beat the game 4 times bro and it’s one of my fav games but there’s no denying that they missed on boss design this time

I’ve conceded I’m just never gonna beat Malenia

I can’t touch her on phase 2…. If she didn’t heal every hit I could beat her

I’ve landed 10+ heavy jumping attacks with +10 Radahn Swords on her in phase 2 and she still has 75% health cause she just hits me too much
