I know someone 100+ hours in since launch and are halfway through the game because they explore a lot...yet complains about the length

I think placidusax has been one of my favorite fights in the whole game

My favorite bosses other than him are
Rykard - he really feels like the perfected version of the gimmick bosses, I thought he was just gon be another yhorm, but the whole thing was really well done
Malenia - waterfowl dance was bullshit but other than that she was an amazing boss
Mogh lord of blood - ion have any specific notes about him I just enjoyed the fight
Radahn - the whole fight just really stood out

I was doing str-int then switched to dex-int now I'm straight up just a rivers build.

I did not realise I had made it to the end of the game (I'm around level 150 and got maybe 120-130 hours in). I beat Godfrey and Radagon yesterday but did not know Radagon would be followed up by the end game boss so I decided to backtrack. I gave the final boss one try but then decided to save it for later since I still have a few places I had started but not finished, so now I'm exploring the Haligtree (currently in Elphael) and after that I might go to the Volcano Manor next.

As somebody who's never played a Souls-type games before, Elden Ring was a complete gamble for me but has so far ended up as one of the top action/adventure games I've played - ever. By far the toughest and most unforgiving game in terms of enemy encounters, but also very satisfying when you pull through and get stronger. The world is massive and so intricate. So many nooks and crannies to explore.

I stayed str int, but dropped my shield for a blood claymore when s*** got a lil too hard

Dualwielded the Guts greatsword and the GoT greatsword and just jump attacked everything. Messed around with other builds but that was the most fun.

Powerstance Antspur Rapier’s?

Right now I’m using Antspur with Blood Blade AoW in my right and Frozen Needle in my left

S*** is amazing. Hitting them with frostbite, scarlet rot and blood loss

i just jump attack spammed him and summoned my mimic and he died really fast

also from a visual/spectacle standpoint the fight is awesome

My guy looked like this for 90% of the game tho I eventually switched to 2 greatswords
