I just found out the hard way
Is a second phase anytime they switch up like Godrick or specifically when you delete their first health bar just for them to get a second? 🤔

Both
But I associate it more with a change in the enemy's physical appearance and/or move-set about halfway through the fight so you have to learn how to deal with their new (and often stronger) moves.
Fighting Godfrey. Please tell me this guy doesn’t have a second phase
My fav boss of the whole game
We know basically, but DLC is confirmed
And ER2 is highly likely in the future, plus theyre already working on the next title after ER

Use spirits and use a bleed melee + magic spells build and you should get through fairly easy.
Also you dont have to speedrun or tryhard it, theres dozens of ways to play the game & half of them make it easy. Take your time & use everything.

!https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Bc6gCi6vUJYElden Ring is also the fastest selling Japanese game ever that isnt by Nintendo (Pokemon n a few other Nin games like the latest Animal Crossing has it beat), & its one of the fastest selling games period in general for single player.
So damn wild. Theyre not just mainstream, theyre f***ing superstars with ER.
The swaddling cloth definitely worth putting in the work tho
Finally beat those freaks, had to use Godrick's Blessing to do it, but man you're right, that talisman is crazy useful

Sometimes I regret having Vigour at 20 even though I'm over lvl 120, but it feels cheap to increase it, it's a nice round number

The feeling of accomplishment is way higher, but recently the Bestial Sanctum gargoyle and the Spiritcaller Cave duo have forced me to use talismans and runes to increase my HP, I have a feeling late game it's gonna get much much worse, might push to 25 idk

You gon have to be flawless in the late game fr

its literally nothing
30 is the bare minimum, 40 is the norm, 50 is amazing
ur not even half of soft cap (which 60 is soft, 80 is hard), might as well take the few points out of vigor n put into attack at that point it would be more worth it

gonna have to be flawless right now
makes no sense to waste a tailsman slot for health when it can be used for so much more
each their own tho even tho idgi

pretty much a one hit ko by the time you hit altus
no hit run activated

Lol I didn't know I was that far off, yeah my strat atm is just dodge constantly and hit hard, would you recommend grinding to 30? I know I can just chill at that Caelid dungeon for a while
Using the talismans etc for health made the fights actually feel relatively fair, not even easy, just fair, I feel like late-game stuff just isn't gonna be fun if I'm getting one-shotted the whole time, but stuff like beating Morgott at 20 does feel amazing

yeah ur tailsman is probably leveling u up 5 ish levels.
i would def say get 30 at least, even hardcore mage builds do at least 30 then pump only int n mana.
when you hit altus you will get one shot if ur 20 by reg soldiers n by the stronger caelid enemies.
theres better tailsmans too, wouldnt recommend the health ones. its better off using the defenive, attacking or buff tailsmans like shard of alexander, the various scropion charms, dragoncrest shield etc.
but also youre atk will never outpace your health gains in er, which is why its worth to do at least the bare min. health is great in er n even more important than the other souls games.

Thanks a lot man, for real, I've been using the big Radahn talisman that increases health but also increases damage taken, but I've got good def so it levels out, that's a lot of talisman slots tho, only gonna put points into vigour for a while, and if for some reason I find it too easy I can always respec, appreciate it dude
