I was very balanced in all my stats…. But I wasn’t even using spells/incantations except a couple very basic incantations to cure poison/rot and like flame grant me strength

I wasn’t struggling but definitely made the game a lot harder for myself by doing that. Once I respec’d and went with an actual build, I started crushing

But that's what I'm saying, I wasn't trying to be balanced. I wanted to be high dex/strength explodey magic katana man, and it kind of just turned into this.

Yeah I would just respec…

My first respec was str/dex and I used dual halberds and would just jump bonk 1 hit almost everything…. Killed most bosses with 4-5 jump hits

Then I got to the late game/Malenia and I respec’d to a bleed build with katanas… Rivers of Blood as my main

And now I’m starting NG+ and I respec’d to int/str build

I dumped 70 points into INT…. using spells with the Dark Moon Greatsword… I haven’t started using it seriously yet but just testing it out at Haligtree, I was crushing and it’s a ton of fun

Yeah I'm thinking about going 70 on int and 50 dex, it's just a matter of me figuring out where i reallocate this point from, because i still want high vigor and mind. Plus I like medium armor.

why was the tree sentinel before Maliketh harder than Maliketh

It all depends on what weapon you wanna main

Dark Moon Greatsword scales off INT so it’s the perfect weapon for a high INT build and it has a great ash of war skill

Moonveil scales off INT too… that would be good for an int/dex build…. Wing of Astel works too

They have a ton of builds…. Those ones are a bit older so only level 100 but he has been uploading level 150 builds recently

I might go moonveil, even though I've gotten so used to the reach and distant that the nagakiba has given me so far.

The OCD in me wants to just grind out the extra 17 levels so my int can be 60 and leave everything else as is.

Well, I guess I could reduce my vigor to 40 and endurance to 35 and leave faith at 18.

Just stuck on Maliketh and Placidusax, cannot beat them at all so I tried to do some different builds but s*** still wasn't working and I accidentally used my last larval tear so I can't go back to my old build and I think this new one sucks too, I need a better build man

It's not just that I could barely get any hits in with my strength build in his 2nd half

If all fails you could always summon some ppl to help, or you could look for larval tears.
