I did for sure. I started with DS3 and it kicked my ass. Then played Bloodborne and felt it was pretty easy. Same with DS1 and 2. Then Sekiro reset the learning curve
I mean might be cause I was playing the games when they came out lol
Real
I also beat Kos on my third try
Logarious & Gascoigne were actually the hardest for me. Lost to them 7 tries iirc.
Dungeon Amydgala was f***ing ridiculous tho since you fight it nmin a tight space, i died 33 TIMES, the most i ever died. I have never lost to any other souls boss more than 15 times & that was Godfrey Hoarah in elden ring lmao.
Edit: EXCEPT ISHHIN SAINT, I DIED SUMN LIKE 20 TIMES
Oddly enough what f***ed me up the most in bloodborne was darkbeast paarl I ain’t even think to not lock onto him till way too many tries into it
Still I wouldnt say a person that beat sekiro will be able to jump into DS1 or 2 and think that game is easy peasy now

Not easy peasy but once you learn the Fromsoft formula you just jump into it differently. I was trying to fight enemies in DS3 like I was playing Bayonetta or some s***.
Damn nigga we really had opposite experiences
tho lowkey that’s why it’s great talking bout these games with niggas
Faxx lmao.
Tbh i dont have "that hard" of a time in most these games. Like BB was my first souls game but the most i died to a boss outside dungeon amy was 7 times, but before souls i played Ninja Gaiden n Monster Hunter a lot n still to this day, the other two "notoriously" difficult n obtuse game series. I beat most bosses in general within 4 to 8 tries if you average it out across all them. I do consider the games challenging but i never thought of them as "IMPOSSIBLE DIFFICULTY" that its stereotyped as.
But Sekiro is my personal hard one, mainly because i suck at Souls parrying. I was doing fine in sekrio till the second half of the game where you HAVE to use Mekuri counters n parrying etc. to break posture unless you want to wittle the boss down for 30+ mins lol.
The second half of the game i was averaging probably 8 to 12 tries for most bosses then Isshin Sword Saint took me 20 sumn, the most tries out the series minus dungeon amy.
That is the Souls game where i felt like "the average player" lmao n why i consider it the hardest. That game made me come off my high lmao.
Sekiro was def the sobering humbler
Another thing like do you guys count how much you die to a boss?
Cause I keep seeing posts like "yeah this boss was crazy difficult I died like 10 times" and im like
10?? thats not that much but I never count
Maybe thats on my adhd but I feel like when i struggle with the boss and like really struggle some of my attempts are just -> go to the boss -> get whooped in 3 hits -> repeat

yeah but DS1 and Sekiro are totally different games man. Like the most difficult part of DS1 is still this world, the management of your estus, the scarce checkpoints. Sekiro has none of that
Faxx lmao.

Sekiro and demon souls are the only ones I haven’t played yet, tho from you just told me imma get my ass handed to me cause I cannot parry for s***, Fr that’s why I’m glad they added those counterattacks in elden ring s*** felt like they finally threw me a bone

Sekiro parrying is not the same as Shield parrying and the game is pretty well balanced with its difficulty. Its the game that holds your hand the most since your damage and HP are tied to where you are in the game not levelling. So you cant really cheat your way out of difficult encounters and you gotta enjoy trying the same boss again and again until you have this really amazing flow of combat on how to beat then.

I ain’t realize how much they changed the formula for sekiro, now I feel like I missed out not playing it when It came out

BIG FAXX
Yeah lmao n Sekiro is def the most different from the others in terms of gameplay n "leveling" too.
Thats the other "issue" with Sekrio is that there is only really two ways to play the game in a fresh playthrough. There is no traditional leveling, only skill trees, & there are no real builds. You literally have only two swords in the game that you get through story, & the other tools are skills with the prosthetic.
So unlike all the other Soulsverse games where there are there are tons of build variety n options and answers to get through stuff or find what works for u, even in Bloodborne although to a lesser extent, you must legitimately "gut gud" in sekiro using literally only Sekiro's way.
Its still an amazing game tho & the level design is still traditional Fromsoft, n the story is actually the most straight forward. Its "souls", but only thinly.
Would still def recommend playing it tho. Owl Father is one of my fav bosses in the whole series/soulsverse & the Tree Dragon boss is the best spectacle fight before Dragonlord in Elden Ring.
Its still awesome even tho it sheds a lot of its Souls DNA with only some intact
How u know the level of them?
Also thats weird if true, maybe the level matching system has changed 🤔
I have heard that on NG+ people are speculating the level range doesnt matter but im not so sure.
I specifically invade the streamers I’m watching and they show their levels
I think anyone playing NG+1 will invade other players playing NG1 despite the level
Why everyone rocking bloodhound step this s*** is more cancer than river of blood builds
