Honestly Elden Rings succes as compared to the other games is basically

And the fact that you can become very strong early in the game

Basically what I am trying to say is you can control the difficulty of the game.

I played this game without summons (no npcs and spirits). Even then its easier as opposed to the other titles.

Some boss mechanics are bullshit though (looking at u elden beast). Nobody wants run after a boss

All the souls games have the option of getting very strong early it's just your knowledge of the game that limits you. You can look up how to get OP early for every one of their games.

Starting with the key in DS1 and getting Havel Armor before the gargoyles

Malenia‘s healing mechanic makes you respect her alot more and learning to dodge her waterfowl dance is extremely satisfying. Plus her Lore and the anticipation of fighting here. Just like every demigod a top tier fight

Disagree i think ER has the most people looking up easy strats more than any other From game previously. ER got a whole new crowd into the genre including mad amounts of the casual crowd who don't see a problem looking up things especially when things get tough.

From games have always had easy modes it's called looking up guides and other ways to get OP and I think a lot of players are doing that this time around.

I’ve collected every single shield, seal, bow and torch and every weapon possible besides a few that I got locked out of/rememberance weapons that have to wait until NG+

Going for every talisman, spell/incantation, ash summon and ash of war now.

Saving all the armors for last since that’ll probably take the longest

Still one of the funniest things in this game to me are the wolf tornadoes lmao
