Gotta keep ng+ interesting while still being stronk

In my og playthru when i was str faith i used a variety of stuff.

The catalyst i used was the Beast one, it scales incantations with faith AND str in a B rating which is really f***ing good. I also like using beast spells, and it also adds a damage bonus to beast incantations.

But the offensive i used n switch between the whole game were Stone of Gurranq, Lightning Spear, Lightning Strike, Frozen Lightning Spear, Flame of the Fell God, Black Flame Ritual, Black Falme, Gurranqs Beast ClawPest Threads, Flame of Frenzy, Wrath of Gold, Elden Stars, Scarlet Aeonia & Black Blade.

Buff/utility ones i would use n switch between the whole game are Vykes Dragonbolt, Golden Vow, Flame Grant Me Strengh, Flame Cleanse Me, Bloodflame Blade, Black Flame Blade & Greyrolls Roar.

The main ones i ALWAYS used were Stone of Gurranq (the best faith spell imo n super overlooked, it even counts as strike damage so if you hit an enemy INCLUDING most human bosses like Malenia, they will get staggered for a crit hit), Liyhtning Spear, Flame of Frenzy (for AOE control) , Gurranqs Beast Claws (another AOE option), Frozen Lightning Spear, Flame of the Fell God (would spam a few before engaging with some openworld bosses), Golden Vow (my main buff) & Flame Cleanse Me (it heals any poison & scarlet rot status on you).

My endgame spells after Malekith were Black Blade, Scarlett of Aeonia (helped alot with Radagon), Lightning Spear, Stone of Gurranq & Golden Vow.

The faith weapons i used were Magma Wyrm Scalsword (my main), Gargoyles Blackblade & Golden Epitaph.

Idk if I wanna start Journey 2 yet. I still feel like I have a lot to explore around the map from my initial playthrough.

As a pure faith player with a lightning focus lemme give my build too for options My style here was basically have every element on deck depending on the enemies weakness but with a focus on lightning for general purposes.

Catalyst I used was the Gravel Stone Seal to boost dragon cult incantations (basically all lightning incantations). Scales purely with faith so I had my faith jacked up to around 65 by endgame.

Spells in order on my tab were: Lightning Spear (my bread and f***ing butter), Frozen lightning Spear (good cone spread damage), Fortissax's Lighting Spear (most powerful spell), Flame Grant me Strength (to boost fire damage), Golden Order, Flame of Frenzy for AoE big damage (amazing on big ass hitbox bosses), and Frenzied Burst for sniping.

ALWAYS rock one of the Scorpion charms depending on the enemy. I always switched between fire scorpion charm, lightning scorpion, and sacred scorpion. Radagon is weak to fire so you know I used that s*** on him.

As for weapons again I switched up depending on situation and elemental weakness but basically stuck with the Blasphemous blade for OP damage and fire damage. Envoy's horn (strike damage) the Coded Sword and Holy Epitaph for holy damage, and Dragonscale blade for lightning when you use the skill but most of my lightning damage came from spells not my weapons.

Both my str and dex were like less than 25 at the end, just focused on Faith-Vig-Mind-End.

How'd you get this detailed view with your character in a blank space?

I need a somber ancient dragon smithing stone and have no clue where to get one at the point I’m at in the main path

Same but I get why it can’t be like that If you can swing a big ass weapon that deals a s***load of damage around like it’s a katana then s balancing all that would be a b****

jump attacks are always solid and like you said those crouch pokes are deadly though ngl

thread obviously isn’t as popping as the early days but damn it’s so nice to see this b**** still going after 7 weeks love yall and can’t believe we all got to experience this masterpiece at launch

Forgot to mention, I did Hyetta’s whole quest before getting to the Forbidden Lands and meeting Shabiri. If you do it that way, Shabiri is already dead, his armor is where he’d be standing if he was alive though I think. By the Zamor Ruins.
