I consider myself v good at norm souls (meaning i suck ass at pvp lol but great at singleplayer) but eveytime i start a new playthru or start a new title entry theres always that feeling of what if i get completely destroyed n humiliated this time around n everything falls apart no matter how many i beat

Sekiro did that too me thats the only time the fear became real

Madness always been op, but Arcane did get fixed + buffed in the patch

Frost is overpowered too wont be surprised if that gets abused next

I am a bit of a roleplayer I guess I was more excited to actually go knowledgable into the game. Knowing when to do what sidequest, where to go when and what key items to get. The first every playthrough always is just a chaos rush towards finding all of this out.

I probably have more fun now even tho I am playing a bit less since I am just taking in the atmosphere vibing out in the world. Also its way less frustrating since I am barely dying.

I thought Frost got nerfed Frost was absolutely annoying prior to the recent patches. You can get stunlocked with the frost stomp.

I feel more confident when starting a brand new game multiple times lol, I absolutely DUSTED s*** in Sekiro in my first new game #2 and then went on to do it like 30 more times

I def should do a scratch playthru sometime tho like u, just speed run getting the stuff for my build then play it normally.

Gonna do that later on tho that way i also have more of a foggy memory of the optional bosses/quests/dungeons.

Hoarfrost skill n ash got nerfed but Frost as an ailment still works the same

Frost can easily stun lock, n Frost also slows the enemy down if u build the ailment. like bleed except it slows down.

I never played PVP in other souls games. Elden ring for some reason made PVP fun. I'm godly in single player. PVP seemed kind of niche in the older games like it was just added on. I just love going into people games while they're doing co-op story s*** and ruining their day lmao. It wasn't like that on the old souls game.

I'd say im above average in the community (i cant do no hit runs or anything like that F*** that lmao im just good at usually figuring bosses out fast n beating them in less tries than most) in the typical souls style, but Sekrio b****slapped me n was like "u not so hotshit that u think u r boi lemme see a parry " lmao im def average to BELOW average in that one

I might have to make a frost and madness build. I'm waiting for poison to get a buff. I really like the serpent blade design.

But yeah I only pvp sometimes, i was decent in Bloodborne PVP but i was good in DS3 PVP. Im ass at invading tho. i havent tried invading nor pvping in Elden yet, but i have done co-op bosses with ppl which i love doing n helping out. I co-op so much in DS3 especially in the DLC helping randoms in the game n helping people thru fourms. I dont mind helping a player push thru or giving advice if asked.

One of the dopest s*** was helping many ppl beat Gael in DS3, knowing i was part of their journey n story of not only finishing DS3 but maybe even Souls as a whole

Scarlet Rot is what u should copp. Scarlet Rot is legit broken, I would say Bleed > Madness > Rot in that order. Rot is basically super poison n has dope spells n weapons to go with it plus almost no one has the healing items ready to deal with it in pvp. It EATS players away so much n iirc it doesnt take much to build.

Rot would be even more broken if more weapons/spells utilized it more but thank god only a select few can cause rot n its not an ash element lmao.

Yeah I’m skipping like 80% of the open world this time around, in a way it’s nice feels more like an older souls game

You got good taste dude. I’m wearing the Beast Champion armor, but my helmet is not part of the Beast Champion set. My helmet (which is my favorite one so far) is called Diallos Mask. I’ve been eyeing the Twinned set since I first saw it but haven’t gotten my hands on it yet. So far I love Diallos Mask. Currently my signature head piece.

Yeah, the Beast Champion helmet is ugly (looks like a doggone tinfoil hat lol) so I replaced it with Diallos Mask which looks so dope.
