I just wanted to play with my friend but as a summon the game gives you half your flasks and half your health and makes you feel so weak.

Bro I've played every fromsoft game multiple times. Just because the system has been dogshit for 10 years doesn't mean it still needs to be dogshit. They could have streamlined co-op so much more by actually letting you explore the world together instead of just doing dungeons.
I understand power scaling if you're summoning into a lower level but let me use my flasks or rest at a bonfire to get them back. I'm so handicapped it's not even funny

when does this happen to you i never experience this besides when it’s supposed to hebben like when an enemy is out of your sight behind a wall, or when it started teleporting away
