Those are the leftovers from the Farum Azula that just fell down from the sky. Theyre all over the map and you usually get ruin fragments from them.
Their description is:
Stone fragment found near places where ruins have fallen from the sky.
Can be used for crafting, or simply for throwing at enemies.
These shards of stone are believed to have once been part of a temple in the sky.
They glow with a faint light from within
Thats how I KNEW there had to be an above especially after i saw the underground lore never lies

Golden Order Greatsword
Game just proved my point that str faith is GOAT Miyazaki knows
Might have to fire this b**** up I got a 3rd somber dragon stone anyways
The one issue I have is you have to remember so much in regards to NPC quest lines
Or is there a way to check on them or something?
Nope gotta remember its like that in every FS game
Good news is most of them tell you clearly where theyre gonna go unlike others games that do rely on waypoints
because greatshield with str and faith really op
That would go against the lore of my character!
Im a battlemage of the full moon!
People said the same thing abt Leyndell, then about Mountaintop of the Giants abt how every basic enemy is even overtuned but i havent noticed it so far. Guess i levelled appropiately
Same
People also dont level vigor for some reason

I was struggling against fire giant for a bit so i was going thru the subreddit and somebody deadass asked “yo Fire Giant one shots me i have 25 VIG is this normal?” Like boyyyy

only some are really out the way

Gotta have at least 30 to 40 vigor in the endgame if you dont wanna be one or two shot
Die? laughs in Comet Azur while melting random boss
I just throw rocks like a child till they stagger for the crit

I dont get why ppl who choose a similar build to me dont level vigor fr, like why does a sorcerer need to be of glass?
I got 45 VIG & 70 INT, around level 110 so not even overleveled for endgame just exactly right
I just throw rocks like a child till they stagger for the crit
Yea lowkey rock sling to me been more helpful throughout than Comet Azur
Smh

Thats the fun of it!!! Real adventure s*** fammm

If i hear one more go to gurranq until the toime is roight i might kill myself !!!

Its what I love about From Soft games so much.
Miyazaki‘s writing and storytelling reminds me of that writing principle called Chekhov‘s gun
en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chekhov%27s_gun
Essentially every element you see in From Soft games is in some form essential to the narrative. Nothing is just there for no reason
I feel like thats present in all their games. Sure there are some limitations because a videogame is not a book but a large production. However I really think you can tell that they try to go for it.
Doing 0 damage to the Elden Beast
If it’s literally 0 damage then you’re using holy damage and that heals it
If i hear one more go to gurranq until the toime is roight i might kill myself !!!
His rewards are worth it if ur faith n his tailsman is an auto B Scaling

True my only minor complaint would be that some enemies return in places where they feel super out of place... like when a single large spider hand suddenly chilling in Mt Gelmir like huh????
Or just the fights with boss hp bar that has reskins that suddenly turns into a gank fight that wasn’t designed to be a gank fight
I totally understand given the scope of it all but that’s the only thing keeping the game from perfect to me. Very very close though def the most epic game adventure ive ever been on besides Shadow Of The Colossus and Uncharted
Another example are the travelling merchants. Sure seem comfortable enough that you have these traders all around the map. Cause you need them cause its a videogame.
Well sike
not in a From Soft game
Now try attacking them
and then do the 3 fingers sidequest :word:
