Wait til you get to the end
Im at the prayer room now, it honestly wasnt bad up until here but now these fat tree demons are just absolutely clapping my ass
I couldnt get into Nier Automata back in release year but im gonna give it another go later this year since there isnt too much im into as of now for 2022
no cap one of the greatest games of all time, u gotta play it for sure
You’re just creating an arbitrary cut off point directly after their best games dropped to create a specific time period that gives your argument some weight. It’s such a f***ing pedantic and nerdy way to make a point. If you go back 10 and a half years you get literally one of the best open world games ever made, and a couple years before that they dropped fallout 3

There's so many of those f***ing things too. I think I fought like 10 of them throughout the game.

please god do not tell me these ones respawn
i cant be a b**** and just run past them but if theyre gonna come back then i have to
More like theyre stubborn n stuck in the past with only a cult fanbase
Them niggas almost went out of commission twice
They've sold enough gameboys thanks to pokemon to stay in the black for like a hundred years no matter how s***ty they do
Bloodborne is amazing and the lore and world is still my favorite but it feels a little dated compared to this. I think this might overtake it a bit. Idk yet. Both are my top 2 no doubt
imagine if bloodborne had a dedicated jump button
i love the janky ass jumping that it already has but that would be a game changer
Rykard could have been such a cool fight but the requirement of having to use the Serpent-Hunter is pretty lame. He has such a cool design and voice but the fight is ultimately pretty easy since you can just sit under him and spam the weapon art while only taking chip damage from the fire underneath you.

I couldnt spam the weapon art since I had barely had any FP. I could only use it 2 or 3 times then I had to use regular attacks. Was fun.

I ran out of FP too but I just used the Starlight Shards to regen and kept spamming. But I guess if someone is doing a pure strength build with little to no FP then it could be tedious.

yeah i get that they were paying homage to storm king but this wouldve been so much better as a straight up fight
probably my favourite so far just in terms of pure spectacle
Real ones know dragons dogma 2 is the next game of life
big facts, they need to hurry up and officially announce it

brooo within 2 days of getting Elden Ring, all it was reminding me of was Dragons Dogma. There was a leak of capcom games supposedly dropping, Dragons Dogma 2 was on the list for 2022 or 2023.
Hopefully we get some news soon

rt it reminded me of dragon's dogma alot too. i love the combat in this, but there was just something about the open-endedness of dragon's dogma with the climbing monsters, and fluid but weighty feeling combat
i still think they did magic type classes the best out of any game ever
if they take cues from all the good games that's come out since then
Is dealing with that as bad the Moonveil spam?
It's 1000 times worse. Whenever I fight a moon veil user I just put on the erdtree greatshield and it counters moonveil's weapon art. Even if you roll, bleed still procs on corpse piler

i havent used it in pvp yet but it melts in pve, bleed/arcane is definitely getting fixed soon

you know you can just use the standard attack right?

@trash_star
Yeah that's what I meant. I had to use the weapons basic attacks which made the whole fight more fun and dynamic instead of just stunlocking him to death.
