Real and i agree it is a bit overrated in the difficulty

It is challenging tho, but imo not obscenely difficult

But i do play a lot of "hardcore" games n they are some of my fav series like Monster Hunter n Ninja Gaiden. Other "notoriously difficult" games that i love, i played those before i played souls tho (i started out with bloodborne but now played them all except Demons Souls).

You just gotta follow the games rules n be patient overall. Challenging but not unfair imo.

I also think those on the outside think we like these games mainly because its difficult, like no, i do like challenging games, but if i wanted to play something STRICTLY for its difficulty id play those insane platformers or those crazy ass shoot em ups or do a f***ing math test game lmao 💀

F***ing COD on veteran is more impossible than most games including Souls

Yeah, I don't even have the balls to try out something like Ninja Gaiden or Cuphead I feel like games like those are in a different realm from FromSoft games. Also, you could just level up your stats to help yourself a little

Challenging but not unfair is the same way I describe FromSoft games. After a death, I rarely feel pissed at the game. It was my own fault for trying to squeeze in another hit when I should've dodged or something like that. Such a great and addictive experience, I try to put people on whenever I can Don't think I know anyone irl who plays these games

I've only played most of Dark Souls 2 and most of Bloodborne so far, but I own DS Remastered, DS3, Sekiro and haven't touched them yet. I want to play all these games before ER because my fear is that they'll feel like a step backwards if I play ER first

I think I'm going to finish off BB, then play DS Remastered, then Sekiro, then DS3

This guy from the rountable in the beginning also got a fantastic quest ending added now. He is at the manor too for a while.

Honestly this game might just have the best characters of all the from soft games. DS1 the only one coming close prolly
