yeah, i can't really fault fromsoft for the same-y dragon fights. guess you can really only do so much without making em more annoying than they already are.
as for the fight you're on: that fight is ass bro. such a disappointing final fight
looks cool as hell, but the moveset is pretty lacking imo and teleports everywhere. that's also why i appreciate the "human-size" fights so much more than the oversized ones. honestly, i think the fights with "human-sized" were the only ones i genuinely really liked. the oversized ones are just never really that fun imo.
I feel the exact same way about oversized fights, I feel like FromSoft are really restricted when designing these huge boss fights and you can just tell by how the fight plays out most of the time.
I like MHW fatalis fight, probably the best fight against a dragon in a video game ever
Final boss from Dragons Dogma was really good too, it’s a gimmick fight but very cool set pieces
Tell me how the f*** to defeat agheel as a melee
Dragon kicking my ass
Hop on horse do 2-3 slashes on his heel then sprint away

MHW is actually really good with oversized bosses

Facts, i’d even say they’re the best at it

i'm really not even too sure what i'd change about those bigger bosses either. maybe better camera? idk
They all play out exactly the same man, go under the boss and hit the feet. 80% of the time you probably don’t even realise you are fighting a dragon because you are always under them and can barely see the boss models except their feet
I hit the mf directly in the head to make it more engaging
Except for Placidusax
Ngl I thought the first time you fought the standard dragon was pretty fun. It seemed like they wanted to push you to switch between torrent and your melee/ magic. However they really shouldve changed it up a bit. Different damage type is just not it. After the 10th time its basically just a snooze fest

hate to admit first time i just ran past them to that grace point
then i went back and beat the s*** out of them
Just reached the double tree sentinels
how tf
go passed them and get the grace, then aggro one at a time
I've been playing non stop for 2 days & haven't even gotten to margit yet because I've been exploring & killing side bosses
Friendship ended with Moonveil, now Rivers of Blood is my best friend
Same lol
