the only reason you’re criticizing the combat is cuz you haven’t played it lol trust. just play it, you’ll have a ton of fun for sure

Fromsoft/Souls combat (aside from Sekiro) doesnt look flashy compared to s*** like DMC but when you play it and it clicks it's like "Ooohhhh I get it now". S*** just flows so well and you can feel your progression as you go. It's so good.

The combat FEELS better than it LOOKS. There's no crazy animations when your character touches s*** or anything, but its precise and lets you do what you need to do. If it had any other bloat in it, it would feel sluggish. Everything has a purpose.

It's very important to understand the combat mechanics to their fullest (how to dodge through attacks, what you can block, how to parry, different attacks you can do, etc.)

I am not super sure on ps4 performance, I believe it is locked 30fps. If you're okay with that then you'll be fine. Like every other game ever, it benefits from higher FPS, but I've beat Bloodborne 4 times, and once at level 1, all at 720p 30fps. You'll adjust.

Runs better on ps4 than ps5 or pc atm, generally speaking.

Only thing is is the less resolution n 30fps, but its locked, while ps5 is 45 to 55/60, unstable.

Also has the least glitches n tech issues.

Ps4 also comes with a free upgrade to ps5, so when you do get a ps5 n hopefully by the time the tech issues are ironed out you dont have to worry.

Runs better n looks better than Bloodborne or Dark Souls 3 too, which are also ps4.

So I need opinions , I’ve never played anything similar to elden ring except like Zelda , I know nothing about this game but seen gameplay, should I cop and just play it ?
