I cant believe @Chilla as a brand new player to FS games beat the Bloodhound Knight at base class level 9 within 15 tries n got to the Siofra elevator all without leveling or having the HORSE
S***s crazy and they say this game is impossible
@Chilla a legend for this one
I do not have a horse and I don’t know where to get one but I’ll probably find out haha.
Lol bro.
I don’t seem to find anything in the game that guides me on what path I should take so I just go explore randomly and hope for the best and somehow make it through these areas that are way above my beginner butt.
i didn’t notice the light guiding me at first either. when you reach a new site of grace you should see a line of light come off of it and stretch in one direction. wherever it’s pointing is the direction you should go to progress through the main game
There’s a lot of broken combinations in this game that do that exact same thing though.
And personally if it was indeed THAT broken I feel like speedrunners would use only that in there builds but they don’t.
I’ve seen so many sword of night and flame two shot bosses while moon veil is a slow burn
Moonveil stunning is still good but you still have to learn your boss patterns to even know your opening cause spamming it willy nilly gets you killed
I dont think speedrunners are a very good metric to prove balance. The fastest run Ive seen abused the Icerind Hatched weapon art. However you have to take into account how quick you can get a weapon. Caelid not exactly a good choice
Im still confused what youre saying ngl. Like Haligtree was balanced and Consecrated Snowfield has barely any content in it
he just saying s*** bro

I agree with the fact i do think it is impossible to a degree to "balance" every so called broken thing in the game due to the insane amount of build variety and combination we have in this game.
From crafting to weapons/armor/spells, spirits n especially the physik.

Which is also why I think this game is amongst one of their most accessible, if u actually use the systems

By far their easiest and hardest game for sure.
The most insane ridiculous enemies they ever made but if you build correctly you’re the most broken character in a game ever made
Mimic Tear 10 is the real problem
This is the only game breaking tool the game gives you access to imo.
Like no bullshit the Mimic is actually a better option than doing co-op with a real person

Doesn’t increase boss health
has access to your whole move set
and nigga got unlimited FP? LMAO
They said the same about Radahn
Area aint that bad either def not getting two shot by at least the ice breath dudes s***s more like 5 to 6 shot im lvl 126 50 vigor n heavy armor
the amount of people playing this game that don’t put enough into vigor but still b**** when they get one or two shotted
like you’re just playing yaself

Haligtree is nowhere NEAR balanced are you f***ing kidding me? And no there’s a decent amount of stuff in Consecrated snowfield you just haven’t found it apparently

What level were you when you got to Haligtree because I also didn't have an issue there. I was 150

Probably 110 or 115 but I went back through Consecrated and Haligtree at 150 just so stuff wouldn’t be beating the s*** out of me and I could actually explore the areas and I was still getting f***ed. Haligtree is literally the most bullshit area in the entire game from left to right
I’m not the only one saying this all it takes is a quick search on the topic of these two areas alone and you will see plenty of people who are a high enough if not higher than recommended level saying there’s something up with them
Farum too

There is not a decent amount of stuff in consecrated snowfield. Its 3 dungeons, a tower, a church with a mausuleum, a tree and the gimmick city. Cmon

Idk man, what weapons/build were you using? For me the enemies in that zone died in like 3 or 4 hits. Also were you using the broken accessories like Radagons Seal? That s*** is basically 20 levels for free. The Haligtree zone was pretty calm outside actually fighting Malenia and the enemies in that zone were mostly knights which are pretty easy to deal with and don't have any erratic movesets
I feel like experiences in the endgame zone probably just vary wildly depending on the build you are running

There’s plenty of enemies? I count that as content. Those dungeons and the cave have a good bit of content in them as well, I didn’t say there’s a s*** ton of content in that area but yeah there’s a good bit and it’s all unbalanced. I’m not gonna keep arguing about this stupid s*** though holy f***
You know the game needs some sort of patch when plenty of people are talking about the same “issues” and s*** that’s borderline experience ruining for them.
Haligtree is nowhere NEAR balanced are you f***ing kidding me?
Whats your reason for saying this? Was probably one of the best areas in the game to me. Maybe a bit linear but I guess atleast it felt like an incredible beautiful decline to the Malenia fight. Starting with the roots onto the small Lord of the rings city
then that ladder after the boss fight towards the big castle
the vibes of being on the edge of the literal world

Broo you dont have to fight every single enemy in an area. Its literally meant to feel hostile
they did that in every single area of this game. Caelid with those s*** dogs. Liurnia with its Lobsters and crabs. Or did you fight every one of these guys every time?

I wasn't expecting the verticality in that area, FromSoft showcasing peak level design yet again

I was using a dex build with high vigor that was absolutely tearing through the game and yes I was using the seal as well. 50 vigor so should have been no issue there yet I was dying way too easily from regular enemies. Everywhere I went basically I felt like I was being bumrushed by 10 of the same OP ass enemies, they put like 20 wolves and one of the Red Wolf bosses that would literally one shot me in an area I needed to go like wtf?
he just saying s*** bro
he been saying s*** most of the time he been in here lol

Why would I want to play the game and feel like I can never take on certain enemies and I just have to run past them every time regardless of how OP/beefy my player is? The f*** kind of lame ass experience is that? I’m not going to try and fight every single enemy every time I run through but yeah killing enemies is a part of the fun for me? Why would I run past everything on my first run through? I start running past them when I feel that I know I can’t deal with it and I feel like that kind of thing happened way too much in this game, at least later areas. It’s always been present but eventually I feel like i’m able to handle the area and all the enemies no problem, I never felt that here
he been saying s*** most of the time he been in here lol
What s*** exactly am I saying? Someone was talking to me about something and mentioned they hadn’t seen any issues with balancing issues so far so I was just mentioning what I experienced, y’all are acting like i’m some f***ing balanced obsessed weirdo when i’m not.
Also you don’t have to be a massive d*** rider who won’t allow someone to share any tiny bit of criticism at all, I feel like i’m in the elden ring subreddit.
I’ve already said multiple times this is easily the best game I’ve ever played but i’m not gonna act like the mf is perfect when there’s some obvious s*** that needs to be addressed.
Literally just go watch someone play the game in the later areas on youtube/twitch or whatever and I guarantee they will start saying the s*** is ridiculous, I’ve seen and read about it plenty of times now. It’s not like i’m in here trashing the precious f***ing game
