One of the best moments has gotta be running into the bell bearing hunter
I went to talk to the turtle and f***er just appeared I thought he killed the turtle
I been scared to go there in case he could kill the turtle potentially
thats my bro dont wanna endanger him
That being said whats everybodies favorite NPCs?
I really like Blaidd, Rogier, Alexander pot guy
Love Varré as well
You've never invaded a full group of 3 all spamming the moonveil art
I havent but im talking PVE, if they make a specific patch for PVP to balance things thats fine with me. Just leave the PVE experience as is
Also, they can just gank you and spam something else, dont blame beloved moonveil for that
What is up with all the garbage second phase bosses in this game. I get one-shot by the draconic tree sentinel when he shoots the Lazer in the air and I have to play through 5 minutes of his piss easy first phase to practice against it. It's not f***ing fun to add filler garbage at the beginning of fights so it feels dramatic when they get hard. Like running around in circles poking rennla babies when she could've just stolen a couple flasks from me and skip to 2nd phase to make the fight more interesting.
Phase fights have always been a thing in fromsoft games but they seemed to make the ones in ER so monotonous at the beginning. Not one f***ing challenging phase 1 from a single boss in this game.
It's like they intentionally made the Rennla fight annoying. They didn't have a stake or grace near it and you had to run all the way back each time. Then the first part was a snooze fest and really a waste of time. I'd much rather you get a choice to just skip to the second part or something idk, but having to continue to redo that first part then the second part was a chore especially with the route they took for it.
I didn't mind Godrick's two phases as much cause the grace spot was right there, and the first phase didn't take as long as wasn't as gimmicky as Rennla's.
Talisman pouches come from mandatory bosses which npc u talkin bout?
Finger reader enia

Alexander, rya, blaidd, blacksmith Millicent were all dope
It's not that I didn't like the fight, I actually did. I just feel like FromSoft is doing some cool s*** with boss AI in the game and the more agile bosses do a better job at showcasing this than the slower moving bosses like Astel
Bosses having delayed as f*** attacks to throw you off balance, how you are punished if you panic roll, bosses combo cancelling, bosses rushing you if you try to heal up instead of just standing there. There are so many small things the AI takes into account in this game such as proximity as well and I feel like it doesn't get enough credit. It's just nice to not see dumb asf boss AI in an open world game for once
Thats kind of unpopular opinion, but cool to see that someone feels that way
I for one side more with the camp who feels a lot of the main bosses are a bit overtuned. I’ve always done melee in their other games but i have no idea how i would have done melee in ER lmao thankfully magic looks better now
Combos that last for weeks, anime tier magic & AEOs that fill up whole arenas. Faster than a lot of Bloodborne bosses even though your own character is slower than the one in Bloodborne. And the annoying new scripted move that instantly catches you while you tryna sip the health flask
Dont get me wrong i love a lot of these boss fights but i enjoy the aesthetics and spectacle of them sometimes more than i do some of the actual fights which is a slight bummer

First part is hella bugged too sometimes the singing enemies don’t spawn
Ranni gang, Millicent, Melina, Roderika, Hweg
Mans just picking all the females u thirsty mf
but yeah i didnt even mention Ranni bc she more of a main character to me considering how big her quest is lmao

Nah he just disappears for a bit but comes back when you reload the area
Blaid is lowkey a Vaati s/o
Talking to him after the radahn fight was one of my favorite moments of the game. Just beating this legend during his festival his bombastic attacks and having an ingame character who you travel with talk about how great that fight was.
i feel u blaidd frr fr
Morgott just spawning when you run to leyndell the first time was also a cool moment

I can see that but the thing is, unless it's the 2 vs 1 boss fights I have never felt that the game was ever unfair.
It was always a skill issue and every time I have died it was because I made a mistake, all those crazy combos and magic too I always felt like they were avoidable. It was simply skill issue.
I do also appreciate the spectacle and art direction is one of my favourite things about FromSoft games but they really took me by surprise with how good the boss AI is in this game. Punishing panic rolling one of the best things in this game and I hope this becomes a staple moving forward in their games.
I want to feel like the boss is fighting me, in a lot of games it just feels like im just fighting the boss

Love how that b**** corhyn always complains how evil the prayerbook is that you give him and that turtle bro
Oh, what have we here? Very well, let us both learn together

I don't think I ever gave Corhyn a normal prayerbook before he disappeared. Meanwhile turtle bro is like " oh word? Some evil s***? Bet let's learn some s***."

I haven’t seen Alexander since my first encounter with him, haven’t gone too deep into Caelid yet
Hopefully my boy’s ok
Blaidd was kinda cool tho, still need to finish his quest as well. I f*** with the blacksmith too but I always f*** with the blacksmiths in these games
