Easily the most bullshit boss i’ve ever fought in any of their games. How the f*** am I level 112, 40 VGR, 609 AR and getting 2 shotted/barely doing damage. This is so f***ing annoying man

Oh dw I've been travelling around the map defeating other bosses and levelling up between attempts, I just had to strategise for his second phase

Ive only fought 3 main bosses so far, Margit, Goddrick n Wyrm but done a s***load of dungeons n optional bosses i cant even count anymore. 62 hours in, level 58.
🚨 STATS 🚨
My build is mainly str n faith with some dex n arcane:
Heres my stats atm (I leveled up twice after Noskella n havent played since so keep that in mind, i put the two levels into faith):
🚨 EQUIPMENT 🚨
🔥 Armor:
Champion Headband (decent phys protecrion n good magic protection, my starter helmet i just really like the way it looks)
Exile Chest (great phys protection)
Travelers Gloves (great element protection)
Exile Greaves (great phys protection n it matches everything)🔥 Weapons i mainly use n switch between depending on situation:
Dragon Halbred (the one i use the most atm), Battle Hammer, Lordsworn Greatsword & Regalia of Eochalid Straight Sword.
Im working towards using the Magma Wyrm Great Curvedsword & Winged Scythe.
🔥 The spells i use the most atm:
Lightning Spear, Fire Sling, Cure Poison & Assassins Approach.Working towards a lot lmao.
🔥 The ranged weapons i use:
Longbow, Shortbow & Crepus' Black Key Crossbow.
Working towards using Hand Ballista & Horn Bow.
🔥 The faith catalyst i use:
Clawmark Seal (scales faith spells with str along with faith)
Working towards Godslayer Seal.
🔥 Shields I use:
Beast Crest Heater Shield & Brass Shield
Working towards Manor Towershield.
🔥 Tailsmans i use n swap around:
Clarifying Horn Charm (boosts mana points), Erdtrees Favor (slight boost to hp, stam n equip load), Lance Tailsman (increases attack power while on horseback), Assassin's Crimson Dagger (restores some health when doing stealth critical attack and regular critical attacks) & then various tailmans depending on the sitiation that give resistances to magic, holy, poison etc. attacks.
🔥 Tools I use:
Exalted Flesh (increases attack power for a short time), Kukri knives (can cause bleed damage) & various greases but mainly Fire Grease.
🔥 Spirits I use:
Lone Wolf n Fanged Imp Ashes for crowds, Ancestral Follower n Spirit Jelleyfish for bosses.
🔥 Ash of wars I use so far:
Storm Blade, Sacred Blade, Quickstep, Wild Strikes, Carian Greatsword & Spinning Weapon for weapons.
Mighty Shot for bows.
Storm Wall for shields.
🚨 THAT IS ALL FOR NOW 🚨
I havent lost to a boss yet more than 8 times n i usually win 1 to 5 tries including main, open world n dungeons bosess so far

Crimson Crystal Tear - Restore half hp
Crimsonburst crystalb - Steadily restores HP for a long time
Greenspill Crystal - Temporarily boosts stamina
Opaline Bubbletear - Negates damage of one attack one time

Finally got my faith high enough to use Dragonscale Great Curvedsword

Been using the Dragon Communion a lot every time i kill a boss dragon type, but reading the lore of Dragonscale it says those that eating dragon hearts at the Dragon Communion are thought to turn into the Magma Wyrms when they die as an act of punishment & curse. Forever crawling on their bellies, never able to take flight...

You HAVE to get the wondrous flask mixture from the samurai guy's questline so his phase 2 move doesn't auto kill you. He also has a shackle like margit somewhere. Besides that, I cheesed the f*** out of him so I can't help you.

Why did From make such an important boss online only?? My only complaint in this game so far really
They always PVE focused so i dont get this choice at all. Or im just tripping and theres other ways to fight him without invading people via Varré questline
Edit; nevermind you can find him without doing the questline so my 10/10 so far still stands
