Thats dope n i started out with BB initially too! BB is now my fav game of all time n what made me buy a PS4, n i ended up platinuming it n the DLC eventually. Then played DS3 when it came out, went back to play DS1 Remaster before Sekiro about a year or so, after Sekiro for the buildup to Elden Ring i then played DS2 Remaster for the first time, then replayed 1 n 3. I dont have a PS5 yet n got into the series too late so thats why i havent played the OG yet. I really want to tho

BB i got my ass whoop for the first quarter to half then it finally clicked, n Sekiro is the hardest of them all imo i still struggle with that game today mainly because i never been a good parrier, im a good dodger, but in that game you have to parry to break the enemies defenses especially the 2nd half bosses. Its basically mandatory on a fresh playthrough.

I would say im an above average souls player in the community in general (i cant do no hit run s*** tho lmao i just usually beat bosses under 10 tries), but in sekrio i get my ass straight whooped like a scrub no matter what until i brute force it 💀💀

Ive only fought 3 main bosses so far, Margit, Goddrick n Wyrm but done a s***load of dungeons n optional bosses i cant even count anymore. 62 hours in, level 58.

My build is mainly str n faith with some dex n arcane:

🔥 Armor:

Champion Headband (decent phys protecrion n good magic protection, my starter helmet i just really like the way it looks)
Exile Chest (great phys protection)
Travelers Gloves (great element protection)
Exile Greaves (great phys protection n it matches everything)

🔥 Weapons i mainly use n switch between depending on situation:

Dragon Halbred (the one i use the most atm), Battle Hammer, Lordsworn Greatsword & Regalia of Eochalid Straight Sword.

Im working towards using the Magma Wyrm Great Curvedsword & Winged Scythe.

🔥 The spells i use the most atm:
Lightning Spear, Fire Sling, Cure Poison & Assassins Approach.

Clawmark Seal (scales faith spells with str along with faith)

🔥 Tailsmans i use n swap around:

Clarifying Horn Charm (boosts mana points), Erdtrees Favor (slight boost to hp, stam n equip load), Lance Tailsman (increases attack power while on horseback), Assassin's Crimson Dagger (restores some health when doing stealth critical attack and regular critical attacks) & then various tailmans depending on the sitiation that give resistances to magic, holy, poison etc. attacks.

🔥 Tools I use:

Exalted Flesh (increases attack power for a short time), Kukri knives (can cause bleed damage) & various greases but mainly Fire Grease.

🔥 Spirits I use:

Lone Wolf n Fanged Imp Ashes for crowds, Ancestral Follower n Spirit Jelleyfish for bosses.

🔥 Ash of wars I use so far:

Storm Blade, Sacred Blade, Quickstep, Wild Strikes, Carian Greatsword & Spinning Weapon for weapons.

Mighty Shot for bows.

Storm Wall for shields.

I havent lost to a boss yet more than 8 times n i usually win 1 to 5 tries including main, open world n dungeons bosess so far

yeah, although I recommend getting the cerulean hidden tear to help you wipe bosses and azur comet (best spell to pair with hidden tear cause azur comet is a channel spell instead of casting)

Easy to get both of those before heading into the capital, azur comet is like 5 minute horse ride from where you first came into atlus plains
