Gotta get up close whenever you can and stay agressive, dont let her bombard you with spells

bro you just have to dodge that beam attack, all the other ones are p**** s*** and she gets staggered super easily

You just have to keep rolling when you’re about to get hit and using rock fling in between her attacks

It’s not too difficult tbh but I was level 54 when I fought her I think

Yeah lmao i was crine when i realized that.. Renalla got enough INT to shoot mini full moons at you and he’s probably over here shooting tiny glinstone pebbles back at somebody who’s already very magic resistant

Also mannnn i love her arena, reminds me of Rom which already was one of my favs in the series

There are spells that deal physical damage dumbass, and that poster definitely has rock fling which deals physical which is really powerful against Rennala

All you gotta do is spam rock fling lol + roll

Yeah there are multiple versions, also one at the beginning of the game at the first see thru fog wall that you gotta open with those keys

yeah her two arenas and her magic were the coolest things about that fight. she was so easy tho, only took like 2 tries after i realized she had a second phase. haven’t made it to Radahn or Margott yet but can’t wait to see their arenas

I've never played a souls game before, will I actually enjoy this or will the difficulty f*** me up?

Also i prefer just getting up close and using the katanas, feels fun to switch it up against another magic enemy bc i already be using my staff & spells a lot on other bosses

Bro meteorite staff is good early to mid game but it’s time to retire that staff and get a +8 azur glintstone staff

I just found somber smithing stone 8 in dragonburrow and now I’m batting a thousand

Interesting. how are you building your stats? are you putting points in mostly int and dex?

It barely changes even once you can upgrade another staff to plus 8 also the meteorite staff fp cost is insanely low i kinda grew fond of it

How u feel abt the Moonveil Katana? Might be the dopest weapon for my playstyle so far.. was abt to give up on my hybrid build plans and switch over full Sorcerer until i found that bad boy i made the right choice going spellblade for ER so so so much fun

the upgrade increases the scaling each time

once you upgrade it to +6 it becomes equal to meteorite staff

after +7-10 it gets more powerful than the meteorite staff each upgrade, but finding all the somber smithing stones is tough, I’m looking for somber smithing stone (9) right now

The FP cost is the same for both staffs

I haven’t found that katana yet so idk what it does lol

Yeah in my edit i suspect its a random rare event when you spawn somewhere

Mostly INT, Mind & Vigor

Dex a lil bit but isnt too necessary since the Moonveil Katana also has magic effects and scaling

And i use the Carican Slice spell which makes my staff turn into a sword that can do OP r1 spams for low FP cost

So i dont really need an actual melee weapon, i just do it bc its fun to switch it up

I dont mind taking this char over the meta lvl, i want to be able to use the INT 70 spells so i would have to, bc otherwise all my other necessary stats would be severely lacking for my actual skill level (i suck at these games compared to other vets)

Wonder how hard the game would be if you JUST did the main path
