Basically the Open world is also a tool for Miyazaki to drop way more crazier s*** and enemies at us since you cant get hardstuck that easy.
I think we saw this already with Margrit whose moveset was incredibly complicated for a early game boss.
Now the question remains: wtff are the endgame bosses gonna be like
so elden ring is gonna have more “fuck-you” moments than any other title
and to think ppl were afraid that fromsoft would dumb their mechanics down to appeal to new players

Very fun. But that rough patch where you first start playing and it hasn't clicked yet is bad. You just gotta keep going until you get through it. Then the game actually starts.
