I really really dont think earl wanted to be that guy. Like we look at him as a career that didnt do much but to him hes probably like s*** i aint got to work a day job in my life. Its apparent he didnt give a s*** about fame.

I think he is currently a top 5 writer of any genre or art form (including poetry, journalism etc) and he has also started a new sound in hip hop so to me in terms of artistry he has fulfilled it. However I do think it's possible he could exceed that and go further

Technically, "his sound" is inspired heavily by the Slums sound. So saying he started it would be disrespectful. He surely helped getting it bigger tho. I remember MIKE getting recognition due to Earl's co-sign a whil back.

Yeah I understand what you are saying. MIKE himself has said his sound was heavily influenced by earl, so I think really MIKE and earl made it together by being influenced by each other
